When using worms or any other live bait you want to be sure that you clean your hands thoroughly before you handle. You do not want to use a highly perfumed soap, just wash with a very natural soap. You then want to get some mud or dirt and rub it on both of your hands before you handle the worms. Fish will detect any of the odors you carry around on your hands and you want everything to be as natural for the fish as possible.
Gang hooks are one of the best types of hooks to use when using live bait and will help the bait look as real as possible. You can find this type of hook anywhere and you can do a little research to find out what works best for you and your style of fishing.
